Nancy was born July 6, 1921. Her birth name is Anne Frances Robbins. She was adopted by Dr Davis when her mother remarried. Her stepfather was a heart surgeon in Chicago. She met Ronald Reagan through the Screen Actors Guild because she was accused of being a Communist. At that time, there were several Nancy Davis’ working in Hollywood. On their first date, Ron was on crutches because he hurt himself while playing in a charity baseball game.
Ronald Reagan was known for keeping jelly beans on his desk. The reason is that he ate them while trying to stop smoking after his good friend passed away from cancer.[Note: This is from memory… I will add more content and do formatting later.]
